What we do
- Rooftop units (RTUs) and commercial split systems: installation, repair and replacement.
- Kitchen cooling coordinated with the hood and make-up air.
- Humidity control in dining rooms, lobbies, event rooms and hotel hallways.
- Mini splits and ductless systems for enclosed patios, offices, server rooms and areas the central system can’t reach.
- Programmable thermostats to adjust the temperature to your business hours.
- Preventive maintenance contracts for one or multiple locations.
The special needs of a restaurant or hotel
- Lots of people and doors that open constantly: the equipment has to be sized for the dining room’s real load.
- Kitchen heat and grease: coils get dirty faster and need more frequent cleaning.
- Tampa humidity: without good humidity control you get odors, mold and a sticky feeling even when the thermostat reads cool.
- Long hours: the equipment runs many more hours than in an office, so maintenance makes the difference.
- Hotel rooms and common areas: each space has its own use and its own schedule.

Frequently asked questions
Why does my restaurant feel humid even with the AC on?
It could be an oversized system that cools quickly but doesn’t remove humidity, a lack of maintenance or humid outdoor air coming in because of poor balance with the kitchen hood. We check the complete system to find the cause.
Can a restaurant kitchen be air conditioned?
Yes, but it has to be designed together with the exhaust and make-up air. A common option is to condition the make-up air or add dedicated units for the cook line.
Do you service rooftop units (RTUs)?
Yes. We install, repair and maintain commercial rooftop units from the leading brands.
How often should a restaurant’s A/C be serviced?
Because of heavy use and airborne grease, we recommend at least two or three visits a year, with more frequent filter changes. We adjust it to your operation.
Do you work with hotels and restaurant chains?
Yes. We serve hotels, chains and restaurant groups in the Tampa area under one service plan, with a report for each location.
