Ironer maintenance
Ironers need regular care: cleaning and waxing the roll, checking covers and ribbons, and verifying the safety devices. A maintenance plan prevents shutdowns in the middle of high season and keeps the finish quality your guests or customers notice. See laundry equipment maintenance.

Frequently asked questions
Why does my ironer leave linens damp or wrinkled?
The most common causes are a roll temperature that’s too low or uneven, worn covers or padding, an incorrect speed setting or linens that arrive too wet from the washers. We check the ironer and, if needed, the washers’ spin cycle.
How often should roll covers be replaced?
It depends on use, temperature and the type of linen. When the cover is worn or scorched, or the finish gets worse, it’s time to replace it. During maintenance visits we check its condition and give you advance notice.
Do you repair gas and steam ironers?
Yes. We service ironers heated by gas, electricity, steam and thermal oil.
Do you check the ironer’s safety devices?
Yes. Flatwork ironers can cause serious injuries, so on every service call we check the finger guard, emergency stops and other safety devices.
Do you service sheet and towel folders?
Yes. We repair and adjust folders, stackers and feeders from the leading brands.
