The problems we repair most often
- Burners, gas valves, igniters and flame sensors on gas dryers.
- Heating elements and contactors on electric dryers.
- Steam coils, valves and traps on hotel and industrial steam dryers.
- Thermostats, thermistors and high-limit safety switches.
- Airflow (sail) switches tripped by a clogged duct.
- Fan and drum motors, belts, pulleys and support rollers.
- Control boards and payment systems.
- Damaged or poorly fitted lint screens and lint compartments.
The exhaust duct: the hidden cause of many failures
When a commercial dryer’s duct is clogged with lint, the hot air can’t get out: the machine takes longer, uses more gas or electricity, the safety limits trip and the risk of fire goes up. That’s why we check airflow on every repair. If the duct needs cleaning or correcting, see our commercial dryer venting service.

Frequently asked questions
Why won’t my commercial dryer heat?
On gas dryers it’s usually an igniter, a gas valve or a flame sensor; on electric dryers, a heating element or a contactor. Very often, though, the cause is a clogged exhaust duct that trips the airflow switch or the high-limit. We check all of it during the diagnosis.
Why does my dryer take so long to dry?
The most frequent causes are a clogged lint screen or duct, a burner or heating element that isn’t delivering full output, or washers that don’t spin well and leave laundry too wet. Checking the duct, the dryer and the washer together usually solves it.
Do you repair hotel steam dryers?
Yes. We service high-capacity steam, gas and electric dryers for hotels, residences and industrial laundries.
How often should the lint screen on a commercial dryer be cleaned?
The lint screen or compartment should be cleaned according to the manufacturer’s instructions, which in commercial use is usually at least once a day and, in busy laundries, several times per shift. The exhaust duct also needs periodic professional cleaning.
How much does industrial dryer repair cost in Tampa?
It depends on the problem and the type of dryer. After the diagnosis we give you a clear price before doing any work.
