What size air conditioner does my house need?
It depends on square footage, insulation, windows, orientation and the number of people in the home. A rule of thumb isn’t enough: we do a load calculation to recommend the exact capacity.
How long does an AC installation take?
A standard central air replacement or installation is usually completed in one day. If ductwork needs to be installed or modified, it can take longer. We confirm the timeline in your quote.
Do I need a permit to install air conditioning in Tampa?
Yes. In Florida, installing or replacing an air conditioning system normally requires a permit from the county or city. We take care of it for you.
What does SEER2 mean?
It’s the official efficiency rating for air conditioners since 2023. The higher the SEER2, the less electricity the system uses to deliver the same cooling. In a climate like Tampa’s, where the AC runs almost all year, a higher SEER2 usually pays for itself on your electric bill.
